Before retraining as a wax specialist Annie's career started in the financial districts of both London and New York, training as an equity trader before eventually securing the position of Chief Executive Officer & MD of finacial trade body IFA Promotion and finally MD of financial web company MMA (now Quay Software, part of Capita PLC).
Annie has appeared on hundreds of television programmes and literally thousands of newspaper articles as an industry expert and has advised some of the ministers in both today's Government and the previous Conservative Government.
After selling her shares in MMA Annie started a new life, retraining then opening Bays Farm Retreat in Essex, where weary clients could relax and enjoy therapies or the more spiritually minded could find enlightenment. Bays Farm Retreat was featured on Anglia TV's 'Top Ten' programme, coming an impressive 4th in the to top ten line up. Annie sold Bays Farm and moved to Norwich in 2007, taking a well earned year out before seting up Waxed Works in 2008. Annie hobbies include photography and high altitude climbing. She is married with a 21 year old daughter who also works at Waxed Works.
